I've been eating nothing but chicken breasts, pork tenderloin and vegetables for the last couple of weeks, decided to start marinating because I was getting so sick of the taste of regular chicken. The way I cook chicken breast is this:

>Get a skillet and a lid for the skillet.
>Put skillet on stove at medium heat.
>Take chicken breasts and season with whatever you want.
>When skillet is heated, add 1 tbsp of butter to skillet. Then add chicken breasts, spreading them evenly across the skillet with the thickest part of the breast near the center of the skillet.
>Cook on one side for 3 minutes, flip breasts over and cook other side for 3 minutes.
>Turn heat to low and put lid on skillet and let sit for 5-7 minutes.

When you remove the lid the chicken will be nice and firm on the outside and soft and juicy on the inside. It shouldn't have any crunchy parts outside, and no pink on the inside.
