Yeah, that's what Jersey Mike's does to be that good: They simply have high quality ingredients. Subway used to be aware of the importance of fresh ingredients but at some point they got caught in a vicious cycle of needing to cut costs and having progressively worse quality, non-fresh ingredients which in turn led to less business and more need to cut costs.

They really good, I hope they overtake subway, have been noticing (at least where I live) more and more of them keep opening in every surrounding town. I still miss Blimpie tho my state only has one left and it’s over an hour away so I haven’t had one in a good decade
