What are some ways to cope with higher food prices?
Currently I'm budget around $70/week for 3-4 lb chicken breasts, veggies, 1lb beef, and broccolii and rice. Seattle area, shopping at Winco.

I do break the bank on soda/monster but I take that out of my fun money after a good workout (3-6 hour bike rides, strava says about 45-100 miles)

i go to winco and spend $150 a month and im a fat fuck.
you gotta start buying more dry bulk goods like chickpeas, beans, quinoa and shit,
use cheaper cuts of chicken or eat less meat entirely, i make chicken liver bolognese and it costs like $5 max for 3 quarts of sauce.
usually avoid thick stem veg like broccoli or cauliflower because most of it gets lost in the trim. green beans, radishes, potatoes, cabbage, carrots, peppers, mushrooms are all pretty good in my winco.

generic brand soda is decently priced at around $1 a 2-liter, get smart and ignore the 50c cans, and just start making a fridge `pitcher of sweet tea each morning instead of stupid Monster.

Think more like a caribbean or central american first generation amerrican. Bags of onions, tomatoes, peppers, make your sofritoi, freezing some batches to make sure nothing fresh goes bad, whole bags of various dried beans, one batch at a time. Basic rice isn't even that good for you if it's not brown, gonna need some beans.

You in particular should consider bagged frozen veggies which can be even fresher than fresh. More soup-making at home, some meats need to be cooked on the bone or in primal cuts for optimal nutrition. Breasts need to be 12 packs, hamburger 3lbs and divided at home to the freezer or batch cooking, or instead buy whole cuts like entire pork loins, or whole chickens to utilize the parts for making bone broth. Loss leader prices exist for things like rotisserie chicken, eggs, milk if you know where to shop for them.

Right now, I'm budgeting $20 for meat, and $20 for veggies on a weekly basis for one person (myself). What this typically looks like is...

Carbs are typically rice or red potatoes and they're cheap and last a long time. Veggies are just whatever's on sale. You can get a ton of veggies for $20; more than one person needs for a week. My veg shopping is typically squash, potatoes, carrots, onion, garlic, cabbage, english cucumbers, ginger, peppers (sweet or spicy), lemons/limes.

Food is all still very doable. It's when you start adding in other things you might buy on a monthly basis where costs begin to add up (paper towels/toilet paper, flour, salt, spices, oils, condiments, cheeses, etc.). That's where everyone is getting nickle-and-dimed right now.

Can confirm. I always walk my dog on a lead and from the very first time I put a collar on them they learn to pay attention to me and never pull. My gf, both my sisters, my aunts, my mum, all their female friends, and any I have ever spoken to regarding walking dogs almost always take them to parks as an excuse to let them off lead and sit around talking shit before they go and get a coffee to reward themselves for looking after their dog they just let run wild with other untrained dogs.

Universally 'men' that I have encountered at dog parks that are there of their own volition are faggots, or retards trolling for a root trying to use their dog as a convo starter. I go out of my way to be the sole person responsible for walking my dog for that reason alone.
