Are those canned or dry beans anon? Cooking dry beans in a slow cooker is not a good idea because the heat of a slow cooker is not high enough to kill the toxins that are in beans. Stay safe anon.

I get your point Anon, they're not the top tier of beans but a can of baked beans with eggs and bacon for breakfast is not something to be turned down. Especially if you add some chilies and onions, maybe even some garlic to it? Barbeque sauce is also a great addition. Don't hate the baked beans, stay safe anon.

here's how to make Romanian beans you retarded faggots, I love you all

start with dried white beans. soak them overnight. I bring them to a boil in the water that I'm going to soak them in and then leave them in the fridge. raw beans are basically toxic which is why you fart like mad from them
next day rinse rinse them and maybe change the water a coulpe times after it's boiled
start cooking with some smoked pork knee or something similar, if you're dicing the meat beforehand you can fry it a bit, depends on the cut
prepare a mirepoix, you can go as simple as carrot and onion, since this is a romanian soup I'd probably also add celeriac, don't char them, only until they're translucend with water and a bit of oil
when the beans and meat are thoroughly boiled add the mirepoix and tomato paste to taste. boil for a bit longer and add bay leaf (very important). If you're making it like a thick soup I'd also add some fresh lovage on top.
serve with some sliced onion and salt.

Thank you Mr Foster! Be sure to check out some other variants of this Romanian recipe as I'm still a young cook and granted I'm likely to make some mistakes. Like for example I'm sure my nan would absolutely pester me for making a mirepoix! Perhaps the humble celeriac is truly best when it is simply boiled!
