Clara did nothing wrong as far as I can tell you. All she did was talk and cook and that’s it. She was in her 90s at the time, so by no means she didn’t care too much about being on the internet.
Her worm-riddled, corpse son used to seethe over the fact that he wasn’t making any more money from his dead mother. In a sense though I’m glad they did take their time to put out more HQ videos with the 13-14 year old footage they had and re-uploaded it. They did so about 2 or 3 years ago from what I have seen.

This is another Glen and friends vid. The truth about depression era cooking is that the majority of the staples are still true now. I like cooking this one myself. I find that I’m usually cooking stuff like this close to the end of the month when I’m getting really close to payday and I’m scrimping up chump change for money to cook for myself and my friends

Povertyfag euro here. Most of my meals are basically some variation on chicken and rice or pasta with 2 days of heartier meals based on pork/lamb/beef, whatever I can pick up cheaply from my local butchers that week, with veg and potatoes.
Breakfast of overnight oats with honey and yogurt or milk and berries.
I struggle mightily with making lunch food but have settled on leftovers from pasta and rice meals or a potato salad for now.
Trying to keep enough variation in preparation of meals to stop myself from going insane from the monotony is a challenge.

if you have access to a balcony, or a sunny window, you can grow a surprising amount of food in a tiny place. You can recycle shit for makeshift pots (plastic milk carton) and compost kitchen scraps for free soil/soil. suplement (this takes time to start, but worth it).

Search for "balcony garden" by 'her 86m2' to get an idea.

I remember the 08 recession.
I literally just graduated college and my gf and I couldn't find a decent job.
Like 3 times a week I'd get one of those cheap $5 pizza's from Little Caesars. I'd usually eat 3 slices, she'd eat 2. Then we'd finish it off for breakfast the next morning.
When we recovered from the recession and finally got real jobs, we'd went really hard into putting money into savings so we'd never have to eat like shit even if another recession took our jobs.
