Some kind of meat stew.

Take any country's top three dishes and there's a 98% chance there's a meat stew in it. For example: goulash, chile con carne, spaghetti bolognese, carbonnade, stroganoff...

And you can combine it with potatoes, rice, bread and even pasta.

It takes long to make so it always be something special. But at the same time it's a set and forget kind of dish.

Entirely wrong. It's simply a demonstration of modern eating routines.
