I’m French and I like British and Scandinavian cheese much more (especially Danish cheese). Thing is, they are less common in supermarkets so usually you need to go to indie shops.

Cheese is so super common here that it became too heavily industrialised and the quality dipped down.
Obviously indie cheese shops still do provide good cheeses. But overall, I think Bornholm island blue cheese blows completely out of water any french blue.
