"Deenz"fags are faggots who rarely even know shit about sardines, but what you posted is literally the opposite of how biomagnification and bioaccumulation of heavy metals works. Smaller fish with short lifetimes like sardine species contain less contamination.

I vastly dislike people who just spam links and refuse to make conversation, but I'll like you to reread my post. "Sardine" is a fish, and there are true sardines, pilchards, but most products sold as "sardines" are not these fish. That list is a jumbled mess to sort through, but most of the brands of sardines refer to south/asian-pacific brands, typically Indian oil sardines. These are not only completely unrelated to other species of sardines including pilchards, but are fished in some of the worst waters in the world. Anyone who's had a can labelled "Product of Thailand" is almost instantly repulsed by it unless they're one of those retards who thinks "hurr, deenz meenz deenz".

You're a retard on the same tier as "deenz"faggots. Congratz.

It's not some new thing that deenz have arsenic in them fucktard. Normie bait joey blowgan talked about getting arsenic poisoning from eating too many deenz. People in these threads are not only not eating them five times a day, they usually get expensive high quality ones to enjoy as a hedonistic experience. You're not smart.

I make rice balls with deenz

Deenz have a strong flavor so it is easy to overdo it
If you use the filling of rice balls with oil deenz, you need to drain them well before putting in kewpie mayo. If the filling is too wet, they will fall apart. A small amount of salt, salt to taste carefully. tsp or less of light soy sauce. pepper, ground sesame, green onions. (but this is also really pleasant with finely diced celery and If you have a hard time figuring out seaweed, you can use some of those seaweed chips and use those externally)

just had a can of these brisling deenz from denmark, there was one whole allspice and a clove which made the sardines taste really nice, would like to see more spices like these used in cans more since it seems to go well with them.
There was too much salt on them though and it was pretty expensive but overall pretty good.

Had pasta with chickpeas simmered in tomato sauce, with Wild Planet sardines mixed in at the end. Dash of hot sauce and some chili salt brought things together, really savory flavor and good texture. >Arsenic trioxide, meriting the name of “inheritance powder”, is the one that historically has been used as a lethal poison. Groundwater can contain inorganic arsenic in the form of arsenite or arsenate, in which arsenic is bound to oxygen atoms. Drinking such water can pose a serious health risk, as has been demonstrated in Bangladesh where the water in numerous wells has been found to contain arsenic at concentrations hundreds of times greater than 10 parts per billion - the number that has been deemed to be the maximum safe level. Ironically, theses very same wells were bored in the first place because so many people were dying from gastrointestinal diseases caused by drinking pond and river water contaminated by sewage. Epidemics of skin blemishes, lung disease, skin cancer, and liver failure have already afflicted people drinking contaminated well water. By contrast, organic arsenicals, such as arsenobetaine, the most abundant arsenic compound in seafood, are relatively non-toxic. That’s because the arsenic atoms are firmly tied up and unavailable for bonding with important biomolecules such as proteins.

Haven't tried it yet, but I figure I'd ask others as to how they compare. I've seen one review say that the Bela sardines aren't cleaned as well as other sardines but I'm guessing that's an anomaly.

You’re roughly paying $3 per ton before shipping. I would only buy it if you want to try everything from KO to see what you like. Honestly the best thing they sell is the smoked kipper snacks from my experience. Just heat them in a saucepan of boiling water for five minutes and eat them on buttered toast with Worcestershire sauce and a poached egg for breakfast. Yum.

I mean, yeah, the value is in getting to do a variety pack and explore the full breadth of their sardine selection. That one is way too expensive, but it has more variety. By that I mean that the KO pack is mostly the same brisling sardines just with different sauces and flavorings. Paying almost $90 for five tins of fish seems insane to me though. It almost defeats the purpose. Nuris for $5 per tin is supposed to be on the high end of the spectrum.

Not really. Royal selection is great if you're into sprats, I'm more of a pilchard guy, the mackerel is great but season is a similar quality, for less, you get more fish, and the flavor profile is more neutral so you can add whatever complements you wish. Those kipper snacks *FUCK* though.
