i have a canadian coworker and a scottish coworker and they were both disgusted by biscuits and gravy when they tried it for the first time
granted, it was at a cracker barrel, but i've had it as well and it's only like 20% worse than homemade

Based.

Personally I wake every day and before I even get out of bed I'm thinking about how awesome the USA is and seething about their amazing food that I'll never be able to match...

I spend the whole day thinking about how awful my existence is compared to theirs. I have a little time set aside every evening to seeth about their biscuits and gravy too.

Oh wait... No I don't... Neither does anyone else. We don't care. When you think we do it's for effect because we like winding you up. You're so easy.

Personally I think Britain and the USA are pig people and I'm glad you're being replaced.

Mexipakis would be superior to Perfidious Albion and the anencephalic ambulatory adipose it calls its spawn

There's a good American restaurant in Vancouver's Gastown district called Deacon's Corner which does a pretty great fried chicken, biscuits, and gravy. I have yet to actually have the dish in the US, though.

in Britain all sausages are country style unless you're buying hotdogs or some specific German type like liverwurst. biscuits just look like unsweet scones. i think i'd rather have bangers, mash and onion gravy but im not adverse to trying it

Don't think so, it's just a humorous double meaning. I do seethe though at American recipes calling for shit like "sticks of butter" or "cups of onion" or some kind of spice premix that you degenerates buy in Wal-Mart instead of having a proper spice/herb selection and doing it yourself

I quite like the cups measurement. I can eyeball a cup or a half cup or whatever. Eyeballing 185g of different density ingredients is trickier.
