I was going hiking with a friend when I found unopened plastic food boxes filled with Chinese food at the trailhead (pic rel is them). One of them was filled with rice, one with Chicken and vegetables, and one with beef. The plastic bag that they were in had a big slash in the side and one of the food boxes had scratches on it (like an animal tried to get into it). When I felt them, they were still warm.

After a 2 hour walk, I came back to the trailhead and they were still there (albeit slightly less warm). I went to all the houses in the vicinity and rang on their doorbells. None of the people asked said that they had ordered the food. I brought them home and here I am, posting on /ck/

My question is, are they safe to eat? Are they poisoned?

Did that for just two weeks and the map/GPS is so fucking god awful that it ROUTINELY would tell you to take the food to the most random, incorrect location and if the person doesn't answer a text to find out where they are... All depends on the service you're using and what the. complaint reason was. If the restaurant put mustard on a burger that wasn't supposed to have mustard then they're not going to take it from the driver. If you give the food to a neighbor on accident then yes they'll deduct it from your pay. If you've already cashed out then they'll deduct it from your next trip. I think that's how it works anyways. I stopped after just a few weeks. Not even remotely worth it. The worst part by far is waiting at restaurants for food. You're only paid for the actual driving. If you have to wait 20 minutes for the Chinese place to make the food you're not earning shit for those 20 minutes. And that happened well over half the time. Only fast food would be quick enough that you can really make money.

It's documented science that playing outside and getting dirty at a young age has a substantial effect on your lifelong immune system and allergies. Your body builds immunity to things you are exposed to. Sure we have some natural immunities that get passed down through genetics but plenty don't. If you are playing outside getting dirty and exposed to all kinds of things when you are young and virile your body gets used to it and builds strong defenses. If you spend all day inside on your smartphone looking at tic tok videos and see less sunlight than a vampire you won't get the same exposure and your body won't have the opportunity to prepare itself. So when you eventually do end up going out and socializing you are much less prepared for everything out there.

That is why it is very bad to try to protect your kids from everything. They need exposure to dirt and grime, let them eat that sandwich that fell on the floor. That shit makes them stronger. There is almost nothing in the natural world that a kid can be exposed to that will harm the most of it they need to be exposed to and it will help them. Ultra neet freak homes with over protective parents are setting their kids up for lifelong misery.
