It's true the people believe this but it's still bullshit. The clear bottles were a marketing trick to make people notice the brand in stores, but as everybody with any knowledge knows, beer is very susceptible to damage by sunlight. So corona has a tendency to taste like shit because of this. Then they had the idea to market the lime thing as a gimmick that would make the consumers mask the taste themselves without even knowing.
