it's the grown up equivalent of putting ketchup on everything
the natural flavours of all the ingredients are lost and all you can taste is heat

fun fact
spicy food is so prevalent in a lot of third world countries because they never invented methods of preserving food
their meat would go rotten pretty quickly so they started adding spicy stuff to everything because it masked the flavour of the rotten food and also helped kill some of the nasty bacteria that was growing on it

I like spicy foods if there’s flavor with it. Hot just to be hot is such a brown skin thing to be proud of. It’s like Europeans bragging about driving stick when you can teach a 16 year old girl how in an afternoon.

I never ate exteremely spicy food on a regular basis but it was a bit spicier than what I eat now. The feeling in the mouth is interesting for a while but it just fucks with my stomach now and that feeling can last for hours.
