if im buying straight from the farmer, im willing to pay full price- hes the one doing the hard work
if im buying from a large bin store that probably payed the farmer shite (which you shouldnt because 100% its lesser quality for whatever reason, or they coat ur fruit in the gay wax) im jackin em over

if i only need to buy one little thing like one bulb of ginger or a singular clove of garlic for a meal, fuck you, thats going in me pocket

Years ago there was an anon who would regularly post pics and stories of his dumpster diving endevours. This was back when "blast techno" was a /ck/ meme and when another anon butchered a deer in his bathtub and it was stickied for like a month. Anyhoo, the dumpster diving anon found some seriously nice food in large quantities. Perfect fruit, mountains of baked goods and donuts, still warm pizzas, candy, tinned goods etc etc. I think he was trying to cycle across America on a budget.

I walk around random apartment buildings with my phone while looking anxiously at the parking lot. When a car pulls up all the way to the front and someone says a random name in a questioning manner towards me I go "yep" and take the food.
Most of the time it's doordash.

I don't even talk to customers unless they are in speaking distance at normal tone of voice. So they'll usually shout at me from halfway across the plaza and explain to me a very long story about how the beer they like is out of stock and they left their id at home but there's stretch marks from their most recent child on their stomach and anyone who gave birth recently can have honey ale from sweden.

I'll just walk up slowly and make them start over again once I am at a polite speaking distance.

>So, you want a beer?
>Yes.
>And it's out of stock?
>Yes.
>Then I guess it doesn't even matter that you don't have your ID.

Conversations are so fucking easy when they shout the whole dialogue tree before I even get there.

imagine having to show ID if you want to buy beer. Over here i've been buying beers from stores since i was 14 and i never had to show my ID. But then again i live in Belgium
