Tried things from https://www.gordonramsay.com/gr/recipes/ over the years
Didn't seem to completely fuck it up most of the time, tasted as good or better than how I had previously made it if I had.
Seems to be a good litmus test of personal opinion assuming one's never going inside his restaurants or eating something he's personally prepared.

if you go by his achievements before becoming a tv star then yes.
His cookbooks from that time are excellent. a lot of tips and tricks you dont get from a normal cookbook.

Since he became a multimillion worldwide entertainer, the quality of his food and books went down a bit, i guess because he just sold out his name and had nearly nothing to do with the cooking done in his restaurants.

But he is still a good chef and I like his tv persona. Would drink beer with.

If you watch any of his competition shows you can see he and the other people he hangs out with have ridiculously biased tastes as expected of a french cook where they'll say ratatouille (literally just fried whatever vegetables you have in the fridge peasant food) is amazing and classy then anything asian he'll call like "street food" lmao
