Nah, they got lucky buying the house in 1980. It was the second one in the neighborhood. It was basically all woods then and the entire property cost them $60,000 for the house and one and a half acres. Pool was installed in the mid 90s and the shed there is basically just siding on an old shack to match the house colors. It's falling apart and I think my next project is either removing it completely or putting a new one in it's place. All that's in it is the tractor, some gas cans, chlorine buckets and then a bunch of old shit that hasn't been touched in ages from when we would go to the beach in the summer. As of now, with renovations and all, the house is probably worth about $500,000, which I've debated about. I'm single and the taxes for the property aren't exactly cheap, but the property is paid off. Either gonna sell it or start renting it out. I used to charge my friend and his girlfriend rent to stay here, but they split and moved out 2 months ago. Looking for a house?
