it's not the pan's fault that you are stupid enough to put cheese and sauce into it
plus, you put way too much (and thick) seasoning on the pan
AND you have no clue what that pan is even for
so indeed, why did you buy it if you didn't even bother watching youtube to learn how to actually cook something

get it all off with soap and a scrub, then while it's dry and unseasoned, hot sear a steak with lots butter, throw some more butter and baste the steak, from then on avoid soaping your pan and keep using lots of butter

Are you that idiot who was posting here the other day asking how to season it?
I told you to just cook with it. You need oil, not artificial seasoning. Also did you bother to remove the wax coating?

listen OP, steel doesn't need to be treated in the same manner that cast-iron does. the main factor when it comes to seasoning a cast-iron pan is preventing moisture from literally deteriorating through it over a given time-period via oxidization (aka. the phenomena which causes rust to form). please be more responsible with your kitchenware, worst-case-scenario you could cause a fire or something so a little homework wouldn't kill you

>> No.17757902

The seasoning is very tricky to get right. The heat must be even across the pan among other things. You also have to use a very small amount of oil and even then it can end up with rough patches and needs to be redone. Don't listen to that retard that says cheese and sauce should stick in a pan. Definitely shouldn't when it's seasoned properly
