Why would I ruin my lungy by smoking cannabis? Why would I then further proceed to mess around in the kitchen while under the influence? It just seems like a bad idea all around.
The solution is to prepare food that contains cannabis, that way you avoid inhaling smoke, don't mess around with knives or a hot oven while high, you still get your drug-fuelled euphoria, and deal with the munchies all at the same time.

I don't disagree with this, but herb vaporizers in moderation can be a convenient way to enjoy a shorter high with much less lung damage than combustion.
