How do you calculate how much is too much in terms of eating at a all you can eat sushi restaurant? I don't want to get banned
I plan on buying a beer
Maybe i'm just worring to much. I want to go and destroy the place.
Just for context when i look at their normal menu vs all you can eat price i would be eating at below 50% price

if i go there several times and eat a lot maybe they will ban
Here's the math.
They charge 500 for what i could eat in all you can eat sitting which cost 200
even if i buy drink i'm still paying less than 50%

Are you retarded? Just autistic? Perhaps a mix of both?
You aren’t going to get banned for eating as much as you want at an all you can eat place unless you’re the sort of insufferable cunt who will try to spend all day there from open to close, taking “breaks” between multiple meals.

Just be wary that if a sushi place does “all you can eat”, but it isn’t conveyor sushi where you can grab plates with just a couple pieces of whatever, and you have to actually order the stuff, there are a couple pitfalls to watch for.
1- usually you can only order a couple things at a time. So every time you order more, it’s basically a “new order”, and it might be slow if they’re busy
2- places like that also often have a policy where if you don’t finish what you order, you’re charged per-piece for what you don’t eat. If you’re sticking to nigiri this really isn’t an issue. But, I’ve seen people who think they have “room for one more roll” end up with a ton of leftovers because they order a roll which they think sounds good, and aren’t aware it’s one of those massive rolls.

We used to have a Chinese buffet with sushi in town (now out of business because covid) and whenever I would go there I would eat three to four plates of food (mostly sushi plus a lot of beef and chicken), one or two cups of soup and some dessert. I don't know if that's a regular amount for buffet customers but they never gave me any shit over it.

I've done this before and just stuck the roll on the floor so I didn't get charged for it

I'm aware of these points and i've factored it in
I was just worried becaue the price difference between what i can eat in a sitting and what that would cost if i bought as take away

You really have to order at buffets now? Before covid you would just go to where the food is and self serve it on your plate and when something ran out they'd bring a full tray of it from the kitchen

I used to work at a sushi restaurant, and I could easily eat a 4-person menu (72 pieces). Funny thing is that most of my coworkers were women, and there wasn't a single one of them who wouldn't clear a 2-person menu by themselves (30-40 pieces). In our defense it wasn't unreasonable for us to be on our feet 10 hours a day, and walk nearly 15km each shift.

its just weird that they charge so much more for a box
at this place if you buy a box for the same price as all you can eat you get 22 pieces.
maybe there is some logic to take away being more expensive?

Do you get nervous when you buy something that's half price at a supermarket? About the resturant, they usually mark up prices by 300% or more of what they paid for, so to really eat into their profits you would need to eat at least $600 worth of food.

I trust these chinese sushi places even less than the ones staffed entirely by mexicans. If there's not a japanese owner or at the very least a korean, I will walk out

OP here, I am back from the restaurant and didn't get banned.... but they did cut me off after about 40 pieces and told me that if this ever happened again I would not be allowed back. So technically not banned but it sure feels like I was banned. I don't know what to do
