How do I improve?

>Taste your food while cooking and adjust seasoning. Correctly salty for many things is 'slightly less than too salty'. So toe that line.
>try to learn thai food to get an idea about pulling between sweet/salty/sour and about balance generally
>really focus on ingredient quality particularly vegetables. Shop fresh/season, store things, use them quickly, and cook them to perfect doneness
>infact cook everything to perfect doneness. Get a instant read thermometer. Stop overcooking meat. Stop overcooking pasta.
