I know nothing about whiskey and not a big drinker, but I've found that Jameson is the most drinkable straight for me.
And every now and then I'll buy some Bulleit whiskey or bourbon, pretty good deal from TJs.

I also had a chance to have some Laphroaig the other week and it was good but I enjoyed it better watered down.
The girl who shared it with me said lagavulin is her favorite above Laphroaig.
