Thanks bro now I really want chicken parm. It's been a while since I've had it.
I've had chicken parm grinders, which, to be fair, are cheaper and probably a better deal, but... Well, if this thread is still up tonight maybe I'll report back.

it's the national dish in Australia, served just about everywhere all over the country
We often add ham between the sauce and cheese, and it's always served with chips and salad

That's interesting. In America it's served with pasta, though you can often get it as a sandwich as well.
>>17692613
Not terribly. The sauce and cheese is usually only on the top, so the bottom is still crunchy if it's well made.

Alls I'm saying is the chicken parmy is a junk food version of a schnitzel. It doesn't really mean that's a problem, but you have to admit if you go to the pub with a pimply-faced fatty he's going for that cheese volcano

no they probably put too much sugar in their sauce, a dumb holdover from tart tomatoes in other countries, or use some premade crap.

You're supposed to add the sauce right before you serve and if the chicken is well made the crust will be crispy enough to not get soggy by the time the meal's eaten. I get the thing about pasta though. Chicken parmesan is best for garlic bread sandwiches.
