To be honest, I would rather have some bangers & mash over whatever third world, brown, diarrhea inducing sewage water is currently trending among zoomers. Sure British food might not be as extravagant as the French, or as natural as the Japanese, but give them a break, they're already the best at: Maths, Natural Sciences, Literature, Film and Music(Tied with Austria and Germany), etc. To be the best at cooking too, would be most unfair.

the variety at uk supermarkets is pretty great imo
there's curry, chutney, pickles, preserves, spices etc.

invading other countries to bring back tasty foods is incredibly based
