I'm not a dainty guy but I feel eggs should only be eaten dainty, that is small pieces one at a time. When I witness somebody devouring a whole egg in a bite or two it really disgusts me.

on the way out ever morning I over-easy two eggs and put them on a small plate. Once they're cool enough I put the plate to my mouth and tilt it upwards, slurping down each egg entirely. I mostly do this for speed and to not make a mess with the yolk

I agree. Just like one of those automatic bread loaf slicers, an egg slicer is useful in a busy kitchen that may need to slice dozens of eggs a day, but pretty wasteful in a home kitchen when you factor in the cleanup.
