Most cheap microbrew lagers taste sharp, crisp and delicious.
Compared to macrobrews, there is usually no metallic aftertaste, no sickly sweetness, and no addition of mashed corn or other sources of sugar.

Corona is OK, but you probably like it because it's chilled just barely above freezing. At that point, Busch Lite will taste fine as well.

I've had that porter, and I really don't like it. Too sweet and heavy. I couldn't think of an appropriate time to drink it either. I like a good ESB occasionally, but if I'm going bitter I much prefer an American IPA style. Maybe naive of me but I also like micro "craft" brewers because I feel like I'm supporting in-state workers and businessmen (at least for the ones who haven't sold out to conglomerates). And presumably the beer is a little fresher. Anyways, a local brewer here, Short's, makes a solid light lager that I buy from time to time. Very crushable and I love the can. Usually just $6-7 for a sixer, so why not buy it over Coors Light, Miller High Life, Bud Light I'd buy otherwise.
