It's a management problem. Burger King doesn't give a fuck about what their franchisees do with their brand. There are no quality standards, they genuinely don't give a fuck if a franchise owner wants to run the place like a landfill. A corporate-owned burger king is probably decent, but you'll never find one.

The internet insist BK and Arby's are bad but theyre much better than everything else in their class. I know Arby's has terrible quality control outside their test markets, which are among the best fast food in the country.

But BK taste pretty much the same everywhere even in Asia so I don't get how people can hate it when they know McDonald's exist. I assume its like people who hate small things about Firefox and then use Chrome.

Because in the 90's they had a Mr. Potato Head promotion where they upgraded their fry recipe, and it was fucking dope. And then in the 2010 they went full retard and changed them into those hollow ghoul finger shit ass fries no one likes. Along with this was their shittening bread quality where the burger buns started having the consistency of Ford minivan seat stuffing.

Very true. I have not been to a burger king in at least 15 years that wasn't staffed by absolute human dregs, and societal inferiors, or fucking loser NEETS trying to just keep a barebones job. The managers look like they would be out of a Jerry Springer commercial, or would be seen at a monster energy convention.

Most of their locations are absolutely filthy. Like, there's just this sticky layer of something on every surface that they never bother to tackle with a Clorox wipe. Can't imagine what the drink machines look like inside.

Also, the QC is shit. The whoppers are hit and miss, and the chicken fries vary from hollow burnt things to mushy.

I mean, people call In-N-Out overhyped, but at least the food is freshly made, the staff are fucking wearing clean uniforms, and they actually clean the dining areas and don't let homeless bums sit inside (I literally saw a security guard and two large male staff throw a bum out of In-N-Out in 2012 when he held up the line trying to get a free burger)
