It's Canadian too, although michigan sauce and michigan hot dogs aren't. Technically michigan poutine and italian poutine aren't supposed to be the same because michigan sauce isn't quite bolognese, it's more like a chili without the chili spices. Although it's true that here the difference is virtually non-existent

I've had alligator(I assume it's similar to croc) and it's good, but is nothing like beef. Like a fishy chicken, quite enjoyable. I've heard others say it was chewy, but when I had it it was one if the softest meats I've eaten.
