How do you start your breakfast? I like something small on the weekdays like oatmeal and fruit. During the weekend I like to go all out and do something like a full English.

Usually either fruit and dairy (yoghurt with compote or jam, smoothies etc), fruit pastry or other baked good (fruits of the forest pastry, strawberry-rhubarb crumble etc) or bikkies and coffee.
Not fruit, but I once made a carrot "compote" for yoghurt that was pretty good. I wanted yoghurt in the morning, didn't want to use any of the fruits I had for it and settled on carrot.

A giant thermos of tea but with only 1 teabag in it no sugar or milk, I just have the habit of needing to drink something warm in the morning and not too much caffeine. It's also the cheapest tea you get aldi's.

Usually a bowl of quick cook oats with cinnamon. If I feel hungry I'll make an egg and cheese sandwich with two eggs.
