What are your favorite salads? I'm trying to eat exclusively salads for a while, but want a good collection of salads to try instead of just whatever sad iceberg lettuce concoction.

Just grate some veg and add dried fruit and nuts. Infinite combinations

I make my own Cobb salad, which looks similar to what is in your pic, but more complex. It's exceptionally delicious and everyone I've ever made it for loves it.

Do NOT use iceberg, use spinach and arugula mix. Earthbound farms a good choice.

Cook finely chopped bacon, remove
Fry up chicken breasts in the bacon fat

Bring another pot to a boil, add 5-6 eggs to hardboil

While that's all going, dice:
1 large white onion
2 avocados
a large handful of dried dates
Some toasted nuts of your choice (not peanut)
Some spring onions
Then take the cooled off eggs, peel and dice

Put salt and pepper over all of the above, I use a giant cutting board for this.

Once the chicken is done, chop it up and throw some corn into the pan with the leftover bacon fat.

Combine all together. Works with any hearty salad dressing, I prefer bleu cheese.

100% amazing, hits all micros and macros. Good for like 3 days of meals.

No pizza toppings on the salad? Crappy thread.

I just took a random image.

Some combinations are unexpectedly/unintuitively good, which is why I was curious about recipes.

Thanks, keeping this one.

50/50 mix of organic spring veggie mix and regular ass romaine salad mix. All my salads contain chopped cherry tomatoes, red onions finely diced and English cucumber.

I do three different varieties of salad one anon already said Cobb so I won't go into that one

The first is an Italian salad. Salami cut into squares, green olives, croutons and mozzarella balls covered with a homemade creamy Italian dressing

Second one is a southwest salad with chopped chicken, cubed cheddar cheese, black beans, crispy corn tortilla strips covered in an ancho chili spicy ranch sauce

My favorite is an arugula mix with beets, pine nuts or walnuts, goat cheese, and a simple vinaigrette
