My local kfc is awesome. It's not very busy most of the time and staffed with 50% older people, so it's really chill and they do a great job. The one time when they took about 20 mins to make my food the manager came out as I was eating and said he would comp it because they took so long.

Fast food in the US is aimed at the bottom 30% when it use to be aimed at the deadass average American and it's staffed by the bottom 10-20%. The 30% quartile in America is like an ok for a ghetto black person or an absolute gutter trash white person. 10% range is like a person from a legit third world country, even a Mexican immigrant is above that threshold, more like Nepal or Somalia or a person with 18 felonies lol. American tourists visiting France are often amazed by our mcDonalds. The burgers are less greasy, the restaurants are more modern and they often have service at table. French McDonald's use french ingredients and follow the stricter norms on food compared to the US (no GMOs, variety of pesticides and chemical stuff banned, etc...)
