The smoke taste is too much and overpowers everything.

I remember the first time I ate a Burger King double cheeseburger, damn it was good and their fries were good too. just doesn't taste the same anymore. fuck... take me back 25 years please, everything is so shit now.

Hungry Jacks (Australia) is our burger king and it's roughly as good as McDonalds, just for different reasons.

Their slogan is accurate, the burgers ARE better at Hungry Jacks, if you get a whopper, otherwise they're not great. Big Macs are still better, but not because of the burger. I think there was a big Jack promotional rip-off, but I never tried it.

Most of the stuff on the hungry Jacks menu is pretty terrible, though. Fries aren't great, onion rings are soggy with grease, nuggets are half as good as McDonalds, if that. Literally only the whopper and soda fountain drinks are good. Cheeseburger is probably better than McDonalds too but I've never had it. I tried Jack's fried chicken, a new burger they have, and it sucks.

McDonalds is pretty much old reliable, but sometimes I make the mistake of getting the quarter pounder and end up with just this burger slick with grease.

Also, this is from a variety of restaurants in Victoria. I've been traveling around the state a lot lately because of COVID staff shortages.
