One time a friend and I made hamburger helper with a pound of ground venison because it's all we had on hand. It was fucking delicious, I recommend it. You can also make tuna helper more palatable by using canned chicken instead, which is one of the only ways to make canned chicken not taste like cat food.

When I was a kid, and my mother was away, my dad would make this. He called it "box food" and my mother hated it, so it was a fun meal he'd share with me.
