This webm always makes me think of that time I dissected a pig fetus in class. Two sensations I'll never forget, cutting through the sternum and slicing open the jaw.

I've killed, cleaned, and butchered plenty of animals since then, but that piglet will always standout to me.

Ribs and pork butt have always been awesome but I thought the other cuts were bland and dry. Until I had some of the heritage breeds like duroc and berkshire. Now pork chops are one of my favorites. It is like eating a good cut of steak.

One of the most accurate measures of literacy is the ability to accurately interpret meaning regardless of spelling based on context, usage, phonetics, and proximity.
Correcting grammar or spelling is a sign of projection, that you yourself were confused by it. I recommend reading more.

Definitely not a city slicker. None of my pigs have fur like that. They have a semi-thick layer of coarse bristly hair, but not fur like a sheep. These must be some other type of pig that has fur. The ones we butcher are pink/brown/black/white and not furry.

Gonna have to disagree. I was raised without pork by some sand people. When I started eating it I noticed its... weird taste.
It's alright, but it's sweet and tastes cheap. It's very unusual and I'd certainly never serve it as a centrepiece or as part of a formal dinner for how incredibly sweet it is. It's a lunch meat and a snacking meat.
Sheep is the most versatile meat.

Desert people used pigs as human waste disposal because they had no water for plumbing. So their swine have as many generations of consuming human feces as there is civilization. In the wetter areas, where you could just dump your load in a river and let those downstream worry about it, swine aren't as gross because they're not used as toilets. If you're going to live in better lands, you should get used to better meat; otherwise, the desert awaits your return!

I tried. It's not bad, it's just not "versatile" (too distinct/strong a taste) and certainly not high-class enough to be anything more than a garnish or part of a side dish at an informal meal.
I also wasn't born in the desert.

Nice work. It's interesting that you describe sheep as versatile and pork as the one with a strong, sweet taste. That list seems pretty varied, and I feel like sheep has a stronger flavour.

One of the most accurate measures of illiteracy is the obsession with defending lack of literacy or proper grammar, the denigration of those who correct improper usage, and promoting freeform interpretation based on context and phonics rather than following the rules.
Demanding one use incorrect grammar or spelling is a sign of projection, that you yourself are confused by the written word and its proper use. I recommend education.

I'm chinese though so I'm probably massively biased
Wish I could try what old breeds of pigs tasted like, before western farmers bred them to be super lean and hence kind of flavourless

"There are reasons that the meat of the pig becomes more saturated with toxins than many of its counterpart farm animals. The first reason has to do with the digestive system of a pig. A pig digests whatever it eats rather quickly, in up to about four hours. On the other hand, a cow takes a good 24 hours to digest what it’s eaten. During the digestive process, animals (including humans) get rid of excess toxins as well as other components of the food eaten that could be dangerous to health. Since the pig’s digestive system operates rather basically, many of these toxins remain in its system to be stored in its more than adequate fatty tissues ready for our consumption. Another issue with the pig is that it has very few functional sweat glands and can barely sweat at all. (3) Sweat glands are a tool the body uses to be rid of toxins. This leaves more toxins in the pig’s body. When you consume pork meat, you too get all these toxins that weren’t eliminated from the pig. None of us needs more toxins in our systems." -Dr Axe
