It tastes similar to Worcestershire Sauce, A1 Sauce, and Japanese Tonkotsu Sauce.
Sweet, spicy, and vinegary.
Ideal with salty foods like bacon or cheese.

my grandpa was from Britain, when he died i was still young so most of what i know from him is from my dad. apparently there would be a massive bottle of HP at every meal, but mainly breakfast. got some for my dad and his face lit up when he saw it, i keep a bottle of it in my cupboard now because its pretty good. it goes well with almost everything in an english breakfast, mainly bacon tho. also goes good on roasts and chippies

It's all down to personal taste. I find HP too fruity and sweet. Daddies is spicier.

It's like A1 steak sauce, but fruitier. It would not taste good on a sandwich, but if you're the kind of person that likes steak sauce on a sandwich, then have at it.

Putting brown sauce in bacon sandwiches is one of the most popular ways of eating it.

>> No.17564226

>>17562359
for americans this is essentially a smoother less smoky A1 sauce. I never understood it thought it was gross. I could see using it for fish n chips if you dont trust their mayo and ketchup
