I'm Australian and I love Mike Judge so of course I watched Silicon Valley and in it there's this character who is always drinking from this massive big gulp cup. Things gotta at least be a liter. Half of me is jealous cause I would totally fill one of those up with Dr.Pepper on the daily but the other half of me knows it would end up just being horrible, flat, lukewarm, watered down, bullshit after only a few sips.

The double big mac is a standard menu item up in Canada for whatever reason. Always has been. They did get rid of extra-large options for fries and drinks, though, but they upped the size for the drink cups to compensate. Apparently our "large" is now bigger than the American one and second only to the Thai one.

We had the grand mac once and I just couldn't appreciate it. All that sauce and lettuce kind of ruined the integrity of the bun and the whole thing fell apart into a gooey mess halfway through eating it. Normally that only happens in the last couple bites with a regular or double big mac.

Yeah, though the fountain syrup is extra concentrated to compensate. I "supposed" to be calibrated so that once half the ice has melted, the drink is the same strength as the bottled stuff, but it never is.
It's not as bad as A&W's no ice policy, though. You get maybe five minutes before your root beer is now lukewarm. There needs to be a middle ground.
