Anyone make their own mayo regularly? I stopped eating the premade stuff a long time ago when I realized that over 3/4 the jar is machine oil that makes you gay and retarded. Homemade mayo also tastes better.

Pic is some ranch dip/dressing I made using homemade mayo as the base with Chef Johns recipe, only I used avocado oil instead of vegetable and olive oil.

making homemade mayo is one of my favorite things. its so fucking easy and tastes leagues better than any store bought mayo. most people don't seem to know that it can be made in literally a minute or two, just use an immersion blender and a container that is slightly larger than the head of the blender. i just use a tin can and a shitty 10 dollar black and decker immersion blender. add it some garlic, black pepper, dijon and lemon, shit is incredible and can be used for so many things
