When I was a kid we had a neighbor who was a stewardess flying a European route. She'd come back with a jar of Nuss Nugat (similar hazelnut spread) every week or two and give it to me. I got so tired of eating that I still can't handle eating much Nutella and that was almost 30 years ago.

i just bought 5 KG of "almond praline". (50% almonds, 50% sugar, vanila extract) for $12.
got it extremely cheap because it's about to expire. went straight to my freezer.
it's so fucking delicious. it's caramelized and slightly bitter and nutty.
