The day after the Ukrainian invasion the Food Network had a news program about this. How will the change in spelling and pronunciation from "Chicken Kiev" (pronounced Key-ev)" to "Chicken Kyiv" (pronounced 'keeve') affect its popularity? Me personally, I'd probably feel silly ordering something pronounced "Chicken Keeve" especially if the waitress was an attractive girl and I'd probably end up just ordering something else with a more manly name like the " 16 oz Angus Tomahawk Ribeye."
