How does it compare to other Weizen? Afaik the brewery has normal Weißbier too.

Tough question as I spent the last few months mostly trying myself through the beers available, and therefore rarely drink more than a single bottle of many sorts, but I would probably say either Schlenkerla Rauchbier or pic related.
I know it was probably halfway thought up by the market research and marketing departments, but it's an overall pretty decent Helles-Pils hybrid. Plus I grew up in Westfalia where Veltins is from.

Less banana and cloves flavour while being a little bit more bitter.

I've seen them in many stores. They seem popular, but it kinda irritates me that they're only sold in 0.33l bottles. I'll buy one of them the next time I'm at the grocery store.

I've the same issue. How do you keep track of the beers you sampled?

Interesting. I always thought it was kind of strange that hops seem to play a secondary role in almost all Weißbier.

Some DDH Triple Hazy IPA for sure, at least 4 hop varieties involved, especially those, which kinda smell like onion

I don't really at the moment although I probably should at least keep a list of what I tried and whether it was good, bad or just mediocre.
