It's a bit expensive for a 500 mL bottle, but tastes quite nice.

It's fairly sweet, spicy and fruity, almost bourbon-like, but it's also got that funky taste that every japanese whiskey seems to have. Very slight smokiness.

I liked it enough that I've just bought a couple more bottles of it.

It was spurred on by health issues so it wasn’t like I quit because I was out of control when I drank, so I’m still able to drink socially.
I do feel much better and am glad I stopped drinking heavily every night but fuck do I miss it sometimes.

Yeah I would never drink excessively but I did drink every day. I went on a diet and I wasn't losing any weight at all. This is week three of not drinking on the weekdays and I've lost a good 15 pounds so far, so I'm hoping to keep it going. I feel you though. Nothing takes the edge off like a cold beer, but I've learned to replace that with lemon water and cold tea.
