American cheese is my guilty pleasure. When real cheeses melt, the heat turns their fat into oil. Its still good, but that gooeyness of american plastic cheese with that pungent artificial flavour hits a spot like no other.

To anybody who said “Chicago” style/dog, please off yourselves before procreating. If you already have, I’d suggest taking a family vacation off a bridge. How a person can defend throwing an entire salad worth of acidic/pickled ingredients on top of a single hotdog is far beyond the realm of acceptable by any culinary standards. Further proof the Midwest is barren of quality food and favors “le epic super zany xD look how different we are!” concoctions that would make a starving child dry heave and croak.

I got you OP. imo, try many. Good buns and high quality dogs makes a big difference. Sometimes just a grilled charred dog with ketchup is the best. Sometimes taking the time to saute up some peppers is the best.

also imho, hot dogs are excellent leg day food. If you're gonna eat like that do it then so it all gets used up.

lmfao, not even the mexican restaurants in WA use fresh jalapeno. Just pickled canned trash that makes everything way too salty. Those hucksters at sports stadiums shill the garlic fries way harder. If you'd see something like that anywhere it'd be in Oregon and cost $20 from the "in" food cart at the time.
