Some Oritz Sardines in Olive Oil for tonight
Delicate skin and slightly soft, they have a beautiful sardine taste without being overly fishy
There were some bones throughout the four individual sardines, but they didn't even crunch
The oil was nice but I'm not someone who drinks the oil
I can't remember how much I paid, and I didn't get a receipt but I think it was around £3

Depends what they are. I could get some CotS for like $1.20 or something like that, or pay $7 a tin for the fancier brands. Quality certainly varies. How much do you think they should cost?

They are sardines packed in salt, like how anchovies are in the big tins. You just rinse them off, then put them in oil to keep them once you open the tin.

How are you going to eat them?
If I'm making Fisherman's Eggs or some such I use Beach Cliff or Chicken Of The Sea.
If I'm just straight out of the tin onto crackers or in a salad I use the pricier stuff.
