Why would you ever willingly choose to cook with chicken breast instead of chicken thighs?

Is there any situation where breast works better than thigh? I can't think of one.

Would like to hear some thoughts from breast defenders.

Thighs for stews/anything where I want smaller pieces of chicken. Breast if I want a whole piece. Thighs have more scraps on them so they're not as appetizing to eat whole.

Curry, pulled chicken, buffalo chicken, chicken parm, plain chicken cutlets, and chicken soup are some pretty good ways to cook breast. But I feel like any dish requiring thighs wouldn't be as good substituting breast the same way thighs for pulled chicken or a parm would just be silly

Thighs are better in curry. Cutlets is a good one though

Dice them and fry in butter. Put them in a curry or stir fry.

I have yet to try thighs in curry, the bones seem a little annoying but at the same time oxtails and curry goat have bobes sometimes too so I can see that makes sense

>price of beef nowadays
fucking poorfag cityslicking faggot. of course you have to eat the dogshit, oldest beef for $60 a cut because you're a clown.
it's obvious you're retarded, but have you considered eating the organs of a cow instead of just the flesh? i'm sure in your degenerate supermarkets, the price of tripe is low enough for even someone like you, taxed at 60% and forced to perpetually taste shit, to be able to afford it.

Poached chicken, and shredded to fill out soup. I think those are the only two acceptable uses.

Where i live organs are even more expensive than regular meat. Chiken hearts are double the price of simple chiken breast for example.

That doesn't make sense. Basic economy of scale. Chickens are all heart, and don't lactate so don't have a use for big breasts.

Breasts are better for lighter uses - salads, delicate curries, poached chicken with rice (Hainanese) or greens (French-ish) - things where the chicken is more of a vehicle for a sauce than the cornerstone of the dish.
Anything where the chicken should kind of stand up on its own - and where a little grease won't ruin the dish - will definitely benefit from thighs over breasts.

Clean the thighs first - they basically pull apart. Or buy skinless-boneless thighs.

Kek
But for real organ meat used to be a lot cheaper but recently, because of the bad economy, because it's in vogue for hipsters to eat organ meat, or some other reason, it hasn't been the case.

Skinless boneless breasts are 1.99 a pound still at my store whilst boneless thighs are 3.29 per. I'll still get the latter time and again but if I'm buying chicken it's usually for meal prep and taste is secondary to cost and protein per serving. I season the shit out of chicken breast anyways and usually bake with pepperjack cheese on top.

i like breast for when Im making a dish that uses chicken strips or pieces distributed through it, but if I'm eating it as a whole chunk then basically anything is better than the breast
