God doesn't eat meat. He doesn't rely on the suffering of other species to get the energy he needs, he's clever, he's friends with them.

As an American, I find the 'proper British fry-up' unappealing.
At least it's a balance meal.

All I can picture when I hear "full english" is a bunch of washed up drunk br*tish sex pests hanging out in the expat quarter of some asian metropolis, loud talking at 4 in the morning after a night of boorishness

I really, really do not like br*tish people

I like how the full English is almost the perfect breakfast, but then the British decided to add baked beans. Everything else is fresh and well cooked so we better open up a can of hienz beans.

pretty good but i just can't do baked beans. huevos rancheros or a good omelette with potatoes are probably my favorites because sweet breakfasts don't do it for me.

Black pudding is disgusting poverty "food" for people who desperately need to invent a new form of sustenance in order to consume more calories to live. It's no different from eating bugs. You can sell me on the rest though.

I'll have a chicken fried steak any day of the week and won't spend any of the time used eating it to think about the UK. Imagine that.

That's a fairly small amount of breakfast for an average-sized person, I'd say? The main reason English food cooks so fast and "lasts" so short is that there isn't much flavour to it. I wouldn't WANT to eat a double helping of beans, toast, eggs, tomatoes, sausage, ham, and mushrooms, but I could easily.

I find this posturing tiresome. The American breakfast with pancakes is perfectly tolerable when a full English can't be found.
The full English is inferior to the breakfasts found in Scotland, Wales, and Ireland anyway.

As an American born and bred I must say this looks like an amazing meal, but I would not prefer it for a breakfast. It's so hearty, I'd prefer it for a heavy lunch or for dinner. Despite what you may have heard most Americans do watch their weight (20-30% don't) and would prefer a bit lighter of a meal earlier in the day, but it does look amazing, and if it's not an everyday thing but more of a rare feast of a breakfast then hell yeah, why not?
