How true is the "Chiken nuggets are made out of baby chicks" thing? Is it just some fake vegan propaganda they spread?

I tried google, and it only returns results from pro-vegan websites such a humaneleague or peta. Seems sketchy.

I still don't care if the answer is yes. just need to know in case I get into an argument one day.

Barely any meat on those little cunts, no, they're like 90% offal, bone and feather.

It's a lie. It's white meat mixed with scraps.

That would obviously be a ridiculous effort.

Oh yea, instead of just selling 2 dozen eggs it's better to let them hatch to make one single chicken nugget.
What they are made out of is shit cuts of chicken due to poor sanitation or genetic deterioration like woody meat

they grow these chickens inside of like two weeks or whatever so technically they are chicks but only if you think about it like a fag would

I'm pretty sure that's illegal since doing something similar is what caused mad cow disease. Plus every package of eggs and chicken seems to say "vegetarian-fed" on it. They probably use it for pet food or something else like that.

that's 100% what they do with the chicks and I've never seen "vegetarian-fed" label chicken and eggs, at least in America

No, they aren't. The male baby chickens are ground up in an industrial grinder for the egg industry though. I dont know if they're used for anything but it's some disgustingly evil shit.

Perdue specifically made a bunch of commercials about how great it is that they don't feed their chickens animal byproducts and are on vegetarian diets, even though chickens are omnivores. But you see the vegetarian diet on their packages.

that's not your egg package now is it? i have a package of expensive eggs in my fridge right now that doesn't have it. chickens are most definitely fed the ground up chicks and leftover chicken parts. in fact it's probably a healthier diet than vegetarian since they are omnivores.

>> No.17345720

Not the exact package in my fridge but I usually have the same brand which says it too. If it's what happens then you should be able to find some kind of guidelines about it from a government agency. Some packages not saying it isn't proof that it happens. Not trying to argue for no reason. I'd just like to know what actually happens and claims with no attempt to provide any kind of proof aren't very reliable.

guess i never paid attention. my carton doesn't say it. the only reason i can think they would do that is people were somehow upset at one point that chickens are fed "animal byproducts" which is still a common practice. not sure why chickens and eggs are special, but not all of them are "vegetarian".

That'd be highly inefficient and dangerous. They'd be eating prions and we'd have mad chicken disease. THe reason there's non-"vegetarian fed" labels on some eggs and chicken is because a lot of chicken nowadays is free range and they eat a lot of bugs and worms as they're omnivores.

>> No.17346712

It's true, they grind them whole. This is how ground chicken is made. McChickens are exclusively made from baby chicks too.

1/2 the chicks hatched are male but they're not used in laying barns. So they are killed as early as they can be sexed and made into ground chicken.

>> No.17346719

Unwanted baby chicks are ground up and turned into hog feed, not nuggets.
