Yea, though I'm not fond of them when they start going from soft to mushy.

If you microwave banana peels, grind them up, and then smoke them you can get extremely high.

Toad licking / smoking toad juice is actually not a meme. Look up bufotenine.

Bananas are fine. About once a year I buy a bundle and somewhat enjoy them. Actually prefer them kind of green

I bought a bunch of plantains by accedent once thinking they were bananas, those were horrible eating them raw, I had to learn to cook them like in Brasilian restaurants.

It's incredible that a toad produces a toxin that provides humans with one of the most powerful psychedelic experience in nature.

I like a slight tinge of green on the peel. Those tend to be semi firm and those are the best kind of bananas.

>> No.17328181

I find bananas repulsive. It's pretty weird. The mere smell starts to initiate my gag reflex. My mother says this was the case even as a baby.

>> No.17328189

They're great in smoothies. I'm not a big fan of eating them but when I do I prefer them to not be very ripe.

Does this kind of shit fuck up your brain forever or not? If not they should really regulate it in a way so they can sell this experience in stores and online legally.

Not sure about DMT analogs like bufotenin, but your brain releases it when you dream.

My take is if you don't have a predisposition to severe mental health problems using them in moderation and with respect is fine.

The experience is so intense you don't really want to do it that much and after your first dose your tolerance goes up massively for about 2 days. Normal dmt not bufotenine.

Yes but I am really picky with them, I need them to be decently brown. Not mushy, but definitely a little soft. Bananas that are bright pure yellow to me are under ripe, and I find them to be hard and bitter

It's not as crazy if you consider that the reason the toad creates the toxin is so that predators rethink whether they want to eat a toad that looks just like the one that made them trip balls last time.

What's weird is that humans are twisted enough to enjoy the experience.

>What's weird is that humans are twisted enough to enjoy the experience.
Supposedly we just have more receptors in our brains to experience positive effects from things like that. I've read some theories that it's because we were able to develop symbiotic relationships with plants, like nicotine is produced to keep away insects that would completely kill the plant but since a lot of people like nicotine's effects it meant that we'd try to ensure it's survival so we could keep having more of it. That's probably not what happened with the toad itself but what the toad produces is similar enough to some chemicals found in plants.
