Only fast food places by me that have actual good fries are Charley's and this local place that does Nashville hot chicken sandwiches. Is Rally's/Checkers still GOAT? I haven't been to one in a decade since there are none here.

I've worked there, and I know how dirty that oil is.
One day, we served fries all day after a chemical ice pack fell into the oil, only stopping when customers kept coming back one by one claiming they felt sick.
Another time, for weeks, we had to wade through sewage to get sewage soaked boxes of food because we lose money if close while we wait for it to be repaired.

When I was a kid they cooked these in beef tallow and they were so good I'd sometimes just go there for some fries and nothing else. Since they started cooking them in "healthier" (lol) seed oils they taste like shit and I can barely finish a medium size serve.

Micky D's is only good for there fries. Carl's jr/hardies fries fucking blow chunks and I always get there waffle fries or jalapeno poppers. Jack in the box's fries also sucks ass but there curly fries are godly, a shame JitB is only my 'i'm going to get blasted' food. Both times I tried sonic's the first time there fries where nearly ice cold and had to heat them up, they where so-so after a trip to the microwave. In and Out's are nice, small but crispy, can eat them as is, feels like extra salt and ketchup ruins them. Wendies fries are okay, still don't get the point of putting them in a frosty and never have. That's all I can think of atm with fries.
