I tried glen marnoch 24 back when it was released when I was visiting the UK. Cheap but also surprisingly good, I'd say it was definitely worth the price. They don't sell the 24 anymore but for single malts around the same price I like Macallan 12. The neck of the bottle has a less aggressive flange, so it's easier to cram up my ass.
