>Author talks about literally anything other than the recipe itself
Why the FUCK is every single recipe website infested with this nonsense. Who is this marketed towards? Who clicks a website to read a recipe and wants to read about the author's shitty life. I feel like I'm going insane. I know it's for ad clicks or some other dumb reason but why aren't more people upset about this?

It's a cyclical thing. Sites like this bring in more ad revenue because they stick ads under every paragraph of their 10k word blog post. Google prioritizes inane bullshit like this over to-the-point results like allrecipes because the ads are run through google, and search results aren't necessarily ordered by best literal match. They're ordered by best match + SEO + profitability. So the website owners are incentivized to keep this up because it produces the best monetary results for them. Many sites now have a "jump to the recipe" button that scrolls you past what they know you don't want to read. This rebalances the relationship somewhat.

Also a fun fact is that you cannot copyright a recipe. You can however copyright the preamble story so that basically is how to stop people stealing by just cutting and pasting the whole thing and selling in a book.

>> No.17303468

>>17302004
There's actually a reason for that. Your recipes aren't protected by copyright without 'significant literary expression', so if they don't give you paragraphs of nonsense some bot will just grab the recipe up and post it elsewhere. Also search engine optimization.

Basically they have no choice, and I'm sure many people hate doing it.

Obama created the environment for Trump and Biden to get into power.
Instead of taking America post-racial, he took a turn in the wake of the Trayvon Martin case to activate his base and went hyper-racialist. That and fag marriage. Those were the turning points in his administration that brought us to where we are now.
The Trayvon case spawned BLM, and fag marriage forced all the gay rights NGO’s to find a new raison d’être in trans rights. This uneasy alliance of political identarian movements united under the unholy banner of Pride in order to crush this nation and everything it ever stood for.

I wanted a recipe for a vindaloo, it was written by a man. He talked about where it originated and how it came to be (originated in Portugal and was made with pork). Then he gave the recipe with options to improvise in case you didn't have a certain ingredient. He also pointed out when it came to the heat that he likes it hot so you may want to dial back on the chilli if your heat tolerance isn't too high.
Women are the problem.

How To Eat
If you're wondering about how to eat, this is the guide for you. We've all found ourselves asking "How to eat?". We've learned that it starts with a simple process known as putting food in one's mouth. Feeling overwhelmed? Our expects are here to make it easy.
-Table of contents-
>Step 1: Bring Food To Mouth
>Step 2: Put Food In Mouth
>Step 3: Chew Food
>Step 4: Swallow Food
>Step 5: Digest Food
>Step 6: Shit Out Food
>>Step 1: Bring Food To Mouth
First, you will need to identify the food in front of you. Reach out with a utensil, or your hand, depending on the cuisine, and gain a hold of the food. Next, bring the food to your lips. Think of it as a train that goes "choo-choo", with your mouth being a tunnel.
