Cooked properly, fatty bacon is the best bacon. Eat with buttered toast mmmmmmmm.

That is what bacon is. What you call bacon is just ham. We also have ham

its good if you cook it really crispy or wrap it around other meat. for me its the bacon offcuts that sell for £1.50/kg, bits of bacon are way better in a sandwich than pulling out a whole rasher

The best way to cook bacon is by putting it in the oven set to 350°F for about 45 to 50 minutes using pic related.

im not waiting that long for a bacon sandwich man

Make a whole pack of bacon.
You'll have some for when it's done and then later.
Fry some eggs while the strips are in the oven to make bacon, egg, and (kraft american) cheese sandwiches.
The main benefit to baking bacon is that the risk of it coming out burnt, rubbery, or inevitably shriveled decreases immensely.

yeah but it's a pain in the fucking balls when you have to clean the rack. even with a grill wire brush, it still sucks.

That wire rack needs no more than a scrubbing sponge bathed in hot dish water with dawn platinum.

You might actually succeed in tricking someone to do that.

The fat is the best part of the animal desu

I have to second this, oven bacon is way more consistent

>> No.17301130

Not American here. I like American bacon. I don't like back bacon nearly as much. Yes, I know "bacon" as a word is literally related to the word "back" and, therefore, Ameribacon isn't true bacon. I don't care. I like belly bacon.

Whats wrong with fat? Its the best tasting part. Crispy, hot fat is one of the most delicious foods
