Is pouring oil into the sink the future of cooking?

I made carnitas last week, but I didn't want them as greasy as they usually are, so I poured them into a colander in the sink.

Yes, it has taken the culinary world by storm. It's simple, practical and something everyone renting can do at home. The iconic tagline really rings true: "Not my problem".

riiiiiiight... kinda CRINGE.

I've been saving a jar of bacon grease in my freezer in hopes using it in some unrealistic, post-apocalyptic world but in all reality I will never use it and the thought of using it actually grosses me out.

Why? It's not any different than any other oil.

You should already be using it to cook with now

Everything you could cook with it would end up tasting like burnt bacon. Its like eating something fried in peanut oil and all you can think about is peanut butter while youre eating it. Plus the odor that is inside that jar is worse than my grandmas cunt

It doesn't actually. It doesn't cause what you make to smell like bacon either. I discovered that when I tried to make baked mac and cheese with a roux made from bacon fat and it didn't taste any different than if I'd used butter, regular lard or vegetable oil. Just try it.

I keep a jar of bacon fat in my fridge. I don't use it all the time because liquid oil is always out on my countertop so it's faster to get to and doesn't require a spoon. My most common use for it is to grease pans (usually cornbread) and I can assure you that the cornbread never has even the slightest hint of bacon aroma or flavor in it.

I don't know how you cook your bacon, but if it tastes burnt, then you are doing it wrong.

Also, it will not even taste like bacon. And I don't know what kind of peanut oil you are using but the stuff I use doesn't taste like anything, especially peanut butter.
